Books a la CartThe Rashi Library’s “Books a la Cart” program is in full swing! Stop by our cart at the Oneg each Friday night to browse and borrow from our collection of both new and classic library materials. The cart features the newest books we’ve processed, other current selections from our collection, children’s books, and some familiar old favorites you may have missed. Right now, we’re featuring some titles by Rabbi David Forman who visited Temple Emanu-El several years ago: “Jewish Schizophrenia in the Land of Israel,” “50 Ways to be Jewish,” and “Israel on Broadway.” We also have Rabbi Jeffrey Salkin’s “Being God’s Partner: How to Find the Hidden Link Between Spirituality and Your Work.” And we’re featuring some great cookbooks!
Each week, we’ll add some new volumes to the cart. If there’s something you’d like, let us know and we’ll try to bring it for you. Members are welcome to browse our library and borrow books (no library card needed!) when the Temple is open. Questions?
