Shir Libeinu is the Adult Volunteer Choir of Temple Emanu-El, under the direction of by Dr Allan Robinson.  In 1983, Cantor Mikhail Manevich formed this small group of temple members for the sheer joy of singing. We have now grown to over 24 members and participate in a number of temple shabbat and holiday services. We have had the pleasure of being able to perform at  Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, The Merkin Concert Hall, as well as with the New Jersey Symphony Opera, Beth Shalom in New City, The Washington Hebrew Congregation and both Bi-Regional Conventions and Regional Choral Festivals. Rehearsal time is an enjoyable and highly energized time, where we learn new music and review old favorites. We would love to have you come to one of our rehearsals, without obligation, and let your voice join with ours. You do not need experience in reading Hebrew or music to be partof Shir Libeinu.
